Been away from shooting Glocks for 10 years so please bear with me..

    1. Does the G45 use G17 magazines that are gen 3?

    2. The gen 5 Glocks seem attractive to me-are all G45 guns gen?

    Thank your your time...

Yes, the G45 can use Gen 3-5 G17 magazines. G45s all have current Gen 5 features, but I wouldn’t say they are Gen 5s.

ALL internal parts of a G45 are Gen5 G19 parts. It's a Gen5 pistol in all but a few superficial polymer frame details.

It's better than the Gen5 G19 with G17 magazine because it eliminates the G19's confusing ability to also use 15-round magazines.

    The G45 is a Gen 5 Glock!
    Keep it simple!

The G45 takes all 17 gen glock magazines unless you switch the mag release to left handed operation. Then it takes gen 4 or 5 only. Its the Glock 19x that won't take gen 5 magazines because of the bottom of the front grip frame. It sticks off the front and gen 5mags need gen 3, or 4 base plates.

The Glock 45 9mm is the King of GLOCK.

There is no doubt in this recognition.
