After buying 5 pistols for my wife... and selling most(kept one... Kahr P9), I got her a G43. Now I'm seriously thinking about getting one for myself. I carry single-stack Kahrs, but I've had problems with them at the range from time to time and my Glocks have always worked. Wifey thought the G19-4 too large and couldn't rack my Kahrs, but she could rack the G19, so I finally decided to try the G43 and set it up for her. I think she likes it, but I don't think she'll ever carry it.
I added Pearce +1 and Vickers +2 upgrades to most of the 10 mags I bought for it and they work fine.
With Glocks, aftermarket accessories abound and mags are relatively inexpensive and easy to find... and they are VERY reliable. The G43 is much easier to carry IWB than my Glocks 23C, 21 SF, or G30S, which are just too thick... for me.

    Wynn :)

My EDC for close to five years has been a Glock 27 or 22 with a LCP as a BUG. I was actually wanting a XDS .45 but ran across a Glock 43 at a nice price. I started carrying the 43 as a backup but, with the Mississippi heat and humidity, I've gradually started just carrying it by itself. Now, it's my EDC. I love this little thing.

Welcome Jarhead I see you came to a similar conclusion that I did it's much easier to carry the G43 than most anything else

I didn't plan to get the 43, but within 7 seconds of holding one, and seeing what I felt was a good price ($460), it came home with me. It's a car gun, now.

Yeah, I really like it. I've added TrueGlo TFX sights, a Crimson Trace Laserguard Green and Magguts, to both mags. I want to get a few more mags and add either +2s or +3s to at least a couple of them. (I'd like three flush with Magguts and three with extensions) I'm currently carrying it in the IWB that came with the Laserguard, with spare mag in my pocket, but I mean to make a pocket holster and a OWB holster for it. I have the Kydex and leather just sitting around. It's mostly a matter off finding the time to do it.

I'm in! After carrying Kahr's for years and years, I decided to dump them all for Glocks (started w/ a 43 and a 17). Lovin' the little 43. Making as many range trips as possible to get dialed in with it. Couldn't be happier w/ this decision. Now I just need MORE Glocks.

I have mine with the TrueGlo TFX sights also. It's been carried daily this hot NM summer. It replaced a Khar PM9 and I have never regretted that change.

Really liked my first G-43, but gave it to my older son when I found out he stopped carrying his backup G-23(he' s LEO). He needed it more than I did- until I could get G-43 #2 which rides daily in a VM-II IWB. Love mine!

Hello, do I need to learn the secret knock or handshake to join this club? ;) Was in the right place at the right time and snagged myself a Model 43 TALO a couple months back. After making sure it ran fine, my Model 42 got traded away. The G43 has become my BUG of choice, carried weak side in one way or another. Today it's in a leather OWB rig carried at about the 10 o'clock position. Primary gun lately is a S&W M&P full size 9mm. Fear not though, sometimes the S&W gets put away in favor of a G17 or 19.
