I heard a rumor on another thread that the GSSF crew has been letting members shoot this new gun at this year's events. Is it true?

I was at Anderson and Richmond and they weren't there. Ammo is now available and word is the fiirst 1000 should be here soon. I would expect that once they have a few production guns they might well have one at the matches to try.

There was one at Waldorf, MD in May. There's a good chance that there will be one of the ten prototypes at every remaining match this year.

I got to shoot the one at Norco as well. It's snappier than I expected but a nice gun to shoot. I won't be buying one anytime soon but I liked the way it shot.

I am looking forward to Statesville and the chance to see and shoot a G37. How did the test shooting work? Did they have one at a plate station or something and hand out 5 round magazines? :)

I got to shoot one this week. The recoil, (185gr. load) to me, was less than the 9mm+p+ that I carry. We were limited to 5 rounds each, as that was all the ammo on hand. 7 yards, group size was one large hole. And we all know that I can't shoot like the Florida Gang. ;f

You are a lucky man. :) I'll get to shoot mine before I see one at a match I'm sure.

No such luck at Coeur d' Alene! I talked with Scott Gilbertson and he said that they hadn't had a G37 at any of the GSSF shoots he had put on this year. Guess I'll just have to wait.
