Anyone running a wolf 22lb spring and guide rod in there G36?
Any problems with heavy loaded +p frame battering with the stock spring? Any cycling problems with or without the spring?

    Thank You
    Jason

    Jason,

The G36 can handle more +P ammo that you can afford to buy. If you are really paranoid, replace the factory recoil spring assembly every six months.

I don't shoot +P in my 36 because it kicks like shiite. I usually just load it with 185 grain Gold Dots but I have gone 230 as well.

Thanks I am looking at some ammo that is loaded to +p
    and states

    • Muzzle Velocity: 1000 fps I am sure this is a 5inch barrel.
    • Muzzle Energy: 511 ft. lbs.
So stock spring is good to go

I prefer the Wolff rods and springs in my Glocks, but I always use the factory weight springs.
I shoot +P's most of the time in my 36 and I've lost count somewhere around 15,000 rounds.
No problems with the 36 or the Wolff rods and springs.

I've run a bunch of +P through my 36 and never had an issue but I'm running the stock Glock RSA. All my Glocks are carry pieces so I only run factory parts.
