I keep seeing conflicting reports on whether the SP-4 Scherer Slug Plug fits the G36. Does anyone have one or a similiar accessory on their G36? I don't want to do any drilling either. Do these products require drilling? Thanks for your time guys.

Most grip plugs slip right in with no modifications, you can check them out on Glockmeister.com and some of the other glock sites..

I've got a Pearce plug in my gen 3 G27.
It just slips in and stays there - a perfect fit.
    I totally forget about it.
But if I buy a second Glock?
I'll get another Pearce plug for sure.

I guess it's really just aesthetics, but seems to finish the gun to me.
