G35 slide wearing

    Hi i need some help i have a G35 and im starting to see some metal being taken of the bottom part of the slide right by the ejection port any one know why this is happing help and thanks

    It might be slide peening, it's normal, upon recoil the frame flexes and the front corners of the locking block rub against those areas of the slide.

    That is normal! Once the gun has been fired a bit the peening will not grow any more and at that time you can take a small flat mill file and remove the peen edge. It will not come back.

    Think of it as the slide self adjusting to the frame.

    thanks for the info means the 35 i bought used wasent fired much at all or ever becuse it just started happing since ive been firing it a lot so thank you all for the help
