G33 recoil spring assembly replacement..

I carry my g33 daily. I now see a large chip off the front piece of the recoil spring assembly.

I would feel better replacing it. Should I go stainless? Can someone provide a supplier.

I would suggest a stock/OEM replacement. It has worked so far.

Do you guys know why Glock uses a plastic RSA? Its not becasue its better then a metal RSA. Its becasue their cheap to make. If Glock could get a metal RSA for the same price as they pay for the plastic ones, I would bet money they would use them in a heartbeat..
