I have a 26 G3 which is my EDC. Thinking of getting a 357 and am trying to decide between a 32 or 33. With the 33 I can use existing holsters. The 32 gives me another platform.

Sell the 26, get both a 33 and 32 so you have the best of both worlds. Buy a 9mm conversion barrel and a few mags for the 33 and you'll be all set. Use the 9mm at the range if you want, carry the .357SIG. I have a 33 and am currently in the market for a 32 as well.

depending on the holsters, they will also fit your 32.
i edc a 33 and all my 32 holsters fit just fine so i didn't really need to go out and get new holsters. i find that some holsters i got for my 33 work fine for the 32 as well (not counting the pocket holster)

I have a G26 and G32 and both fit nicely in my CBST and Glock S/C.

As much as I love my G26, if I were to obtain a G33, the G26 would probably become a safe queen :)

I'd say get the G32. Make a nice nightstand/winter/trail carry piece.

I really like my G33, but prefer the larger size.

Can't go wrong with either, the 33 conceals better obviously

I never understood why anyone would do this. Shoot 9mm and carry 357 (or 40 or...). Two different rounds with different recoil and shooting characteristics. Wouldnt it be better to practice with what you carry? You know, just in case you actually had to use your weapon in a life threating situation. IDK, maybe I am crazy or stupid.

Bad assumption. I do shoot and carry .357SIG. I have 9mm and .40 barrels as well to mix it up at the range at times. The versatility of my 33 gives me the option of three calibers at the range if I want. The .357SIG gets the most range time and always carries with me.

That's not what the guy was responding to. His point was it was a bad idea to only practice with 9mm if you're carrying .357. I concur with that. If you practice with all calibers, that's fine.

Read my original post again. Nowhere did I suggest to buy a .357SIG and practice and/or carry it with 9mm only.
