I noticed my G30SF has an extended mag release. I really don't care for them. Can I get a regular one? Is it the same as any other Glock model?
    Thanks

Thanks for the info. I guess I didn't word my request properly.

I have a brand new G30SF. I just got it yesterday. The mag release sticks out further then on my G19 and G26. I would imagine if I order a stock one it will be the same. I'm looking for someone that makes one a little shorter so it sticks out like my G19 and G26.

they make extended ones, but not shortened ones that I know of. You will probably have to take it out and modify it yourself. Make sure to remove it first though so you don't damage the frame.

I was figuring that's what I was going to have to do. I will order up another stock one and mess around with it.

I just tried the one out of my G19 in the G30SF. It locks the mag in but it just a hair to short to release it.

Glockparts shows all 45/10mm to be the same except the G36 which has it's own. at 3.95, hard to not try a mod or 2.

The regular .45/10mm mag release naturally sticks out of its frame farther than the 9/40/357 guns. The 45 release is the extended to be the OEM extended G34 release. It is just naturally longer no matter which frame it is in.
