    Mine is. Crisper just a little heavier pull of the box . Polish the drop safety plunger and no grittyness. Shorter over travel and good reset. No trigger bite. Love Glocks but Smith got this one right. Recoil for me is less snappy than the 27's I have owned. Really surprised me. Pocket carry my shield as a back up for my 29 or 20 sf. For my primary would go with the 27 just for round count. As a backup much better than a j frame. IMHO

    LOL! He is the man for sure! Class act! That vid never gets old for me. Bro it really is a no brainer, you get 3 guns in one basically, absolute reliability that God forbid you had to pull your weapon to save your family, GLOCK will not fail you!!! Like you, my wife is worth everything, that's why I have a CCW in the first place. Good luck on your purchase, you wont be dissapointed! Be safe! D.

    Actually he CC's an Ed Brown Kobra Karry :cool:
    he is the one that got me into these dang EB's, I traded my G27 in on a G33 after three years of carrying it.

    Before you do this at least RENT a G33, I am telling you it is THE BEST EDC Glock makes. It is my last Glock, I have at one time owned them all except the G34/35.

    It reminds me of my FiveSeven in it is insanely loud, makes little kids cry, and the fire ball is epic..:supergrin:

    The G33 and the FN 5.7 are about as close to a rifle as you can get. Well unless you have a AR Pistol which actually is a rifle in your pocket :whistling:

    The G27 had the worst recoil of any G I had, all the people that shot it, first timers and experienced could not warm up to it and I dreaded having to run it for the sake of running it. Your wife (still waiting on those pics btw) will def not like it. The 33 is no slouch in the recoil but it does not snap straight up and back to your face.

    Que neat 5.7 fireball from the wife unit

    Shield = Awesome

    I had a .40 the day they came out -- amazing guns , great trigger , will last 1000000 rounds , and suitable for pocket carry.

    I would get the 9mm over the .40 shield if I did it over again , but I don't want to start a cal war.

    If this is your go to CCW - get the 27 but you can't go wrong with either choice.

    G27 of course great capacity and ever better with a Glock7151 +.
    But you can ask the same question in the S&W forums.

    My G27 is probably my MOST carried Glock due to high temps and light clothing most of the year here. I'm assuming the OP is operating in a similar environment.

    I've carried it on duty as a BUG on my vest and off duty for 12+ years now. Recently added 10-8 sights and long ago stippled it and put on an extended slide stop. It carries so nicely under light clothes it's hard to believe I'm carrying that kind of firepower. I always carry a 13 round backup mag on my offside, and have never felt under-gunned with this setup. Have been protecting wife and two daughters with it for a long long time.

    9mm all the way. I carry the G19 and it is very comfy IWB in a crossbreed supertuck at 3:30. Although the shield will be even more comfortable, you can't go wrong with either IMO.(although I don't have experience carrying either of the particular models you are curious about)

    Unless someone like Lone Wolf makes a barrel I think you'll be waiting a long time. I don't see S&W doing it (they don't even sell the other M&Ps in .357 Sig any more except for special order).

    I experienced the same with the kahr pm9. Found it to be easier to carry, but I now carry my g30. No pocket carry. If the shield turns out to be as good as my wife's m&p9c I will definitely consider it.
