The G26 I bought one month ago just got back from its third trip to the range. It now has ~500 rounds through and has been absolutely flawless. It was treated to a new diet today: 124gr Blazer AL and 127+p+ Ranger-T plus its usual Precision Cartridge 115gr commercial reloads (I fed it a variety of 147s last trip). Every single round loaded, fed and fired perfectly--as expected. The OE mags fill, load and feed perfectly. I've never had a full mag loading issue with Glock 9mm as I've had with my G30SF (which continues after more than 1000 rds). The gun accepts and rips through my G17 mags without a burp. Accuracy is only limited by my skills but getting better with each trip to the range. When I bought the gun, I also purchased a couple of Pearce extensions which I love on my G30SF. However, I haven't installed them yet after seeing some G26 owners here swear by the 'curled pinky' grip. I'm getting used to it and I'm kind of liking it. They may never get installed.

I truly wish every Glock performs this well for every one of their customers. In this case, the "perfection" tag is well deserved.

Glad you are enjoying the G26. That model will most likely be my next Glock.

I love mine too! It took me a little practice at the range, but I am now just as deadly with my G26 as I am with my G19.

I agree, the G26 was my first Glock and I was impressed.

I am a Sig Shooter who grabbed a G26 for a change. I loved it so much I now own 4 Glocks. The 26 is a wonderful combination of accuracy and size for CCW. I recommend trying the pinky extension (not the plus one). It made the shooting a whole lot better for me.

I'm going to go ahead and say the G-26 is the BEST model Glock on the market. It's the most versatile and carries like a dream.

+1 on the GAP floorplates. They are a must have.

I see the advantages of the GAP floor plates in drawing the weapon, but how much does it help firing the weapon? I don`t see much purchase for the pinky once you get the gun in hand.

I couldn't agree more with the OP and his experience. I had to check to make certain it wasn't something I had posted. Except my experience now covers three G 26s (yes, I like them that much) and thousands of rounds of ammunition. No magazine extensions for me either ... just Talon Grips and I call the G 26 Absolute Perfection.

Congrats. I got my G19 first, but soon followed up with my G26. The G19 still gets HD duty, but the G26 is the one that tags along on my outings. The G26 fits my hand perfectly, and I shoot it a lot more accurately than the G19. I switch between using the standard 10-round magazine w/o extension and with Pearce +0 (if I need more capacity, I'll carry the G19; but I feel like a five-round difference doesn't make or break anything, considering I shoot the G26 more accurately).

I think the 26 is a work of art, and I have a couple of them, they both have Gap Floorplates which I like a lot, all in all I think the 26 in my opinion is probably the best overall Glock made.

I went the 40 route six years ago when I started buying Glocks, but yes, the 26 is a great size. I just got the brother of the 26, the 27, and love the ability to ankle or IWB comfortably.

    I currently have the 22, 23, and 27.

I've never really considered ankle carry. How does that work for you? What holster do you use?

    And welcome to GT BTW.

    Like the 26?

Well here is my Bowie Tactical Glock.

It's my daily carry set up with a FIST IWB holster, Surefire E2D, and Spyderco.

Nice. I keep a trusty Spyderco on me daily as well. Love those blades.
