I had a great day at the range with my 13 year old son today. I ran 50 124 +P Golddots, and my son ran 50 Magtech 115 gr FMJ's all through the new G26. We had about five BTF out of the 100 rounds. I don't care about this too much. I have a feeling that other makes do the same thing. I am very happy with the pistol. I must say that I noticed a big difference in recoil between the target rounds and the golddots. The 26 is my EDC. No failures of any kind today. With the golddots, I really have to concentrate on holding on to the pistol. I am doing better with more practice. I would not want to own a G27 or a G33 though. I think that those two subcompacts would be a bit much for me. My son is learning gun safety, and how to shoot a pistol properly. He loves shooting my glocks. He does good with the Gen 4 G23 too. Anyways, it was a good day at the range, and this G26 is my favorite gun.

    Congrats on your new G26.
I got a new G26 this week also, but mine is a Gen 3. I shot 150+ rounds on my first range visit without a failure. I know what you mean about the 124gr +p's. I can feel the diffierence, but they are what I will be carrying.

Funny thing... I started out with a G21 many years ago and the G26 is now my most often shot model. I load mine with 115gr Gold Dots.

The new ejector really helped with ejection issue on my Gen 4 26. If you have the old 336 ejector get the new 30274 ejector (30275 housing)
