I recently bought a used G23 with supposedly low round count. When I installed a 3.5 lb. glock connector I noticed the locking block pin looked very worn one one side. On each end the pin was shiny and worn on one side only. The actions seems like it draggs for roughly 1/8 inch when cycling by hand, roughly until the barrel hood clears the slide. It looks like the hood may be rubbing slightly on the slide. If so I'm sure it will wear in. I plan to just change the pin and run it. I cycles fine when firing. Any ideas or suggestions.

You are doing fine now. Change the pin is it looks worn however I can tell you I have not seen one wear down. It seems they break in two but never seen one wear down.
BTW: The current production barrels sport a slight bevel on the leading edge of the hood. This bevel helps the slide "un-lock" once its fired.
