I currently own a gen 3 Glock 22, and I'm considering getting a g23. Would there be any point in me getting one? How big of a difference is there in each gun other than size? Advice?

I have a G23 and like it alot because its the same size as my G19. Its alot easier to conceal then a G22. But I am thinking about getting a G22 for my nightstand gun.

The biggest difference is the size. Have fun with it, I love mine!

Quite convincing. I'm just thinking about the long run for when I'm carrying, I'm sure it would be easier to conceal a 23 over a 22. I want to stick with the .40 cal because i enjoy shooting that round, plus it has some power and is relatively cheap to shoot.

This is my issue aswell can't decide if I wanna get a 23 and stay .40 or get a 19, prob getting a 23 since I can convert but then I also think I kinda want a .45 or 10mm :)

A G23 is on my "to get" list. I already have a G22, it has become my dedicated nightstand gun. I want a G23 for EDC purposes. I am already vested in .40S&W for ammo, the manual of arms is the same, my G22 magazines will work in the G23 should I feel the need for more capacity-- those are my reasons for wanting a G23 along with my G22. Should any of these reasons work for you, feel free to use them!

My G23 is with me all the time-my G22 stays at home lonely and bored.

Get both the 19 and the 23 ,I have had my 19 for about a month and I love it but most of my guns are 40's so I thought what the hell the 23 is a 19 with a bigger bang and I already have a bunch of holsters for the 19 . I have only shot 150 rnds out of the 23 so far I cant say that I love it but if I get as good with it as I did my 19 I will definately love it.

I went from a G23 to G22. Mine is the RTF model and I like it better. I grip and shoot the G22 better.

i have a G23 3rd gen just bought a G23 RTF bc it was a good deal and im in the process of tradeing the normal 3rd gen for a 19 RTF... next i want a G17 and it will hopefully be a RTF if i can find a deal.

P.S. the 23 RTF was used but never fired with night sights for 420 and thats the most i have ever paid for a glock!

The 23 is going to be easier for most to conceal - the height and length of the 22 compared to the 23 are IMHO easy to overcome BUT for most not worth it.

Especially when you consider the benefit of using a 23 as a ccw and have 22 mags for reloads.

    Be safe,
    Doc

i EDC my g23. I had a g22 and at the time budget didnt really allow to purchase an additional gun so i sold the 22 and bought the 23, mostly due to it being easier to conceal. now, id like a g22 for nightstand, a 27 to swap out with my 23 for EDC, and a 35 for classes/comp. also looking to get the lady a 19, should round out our collection well.

    I chose a G-23 after having a G-27.

The G-23 gave me more rounds and more control with no sacrafice in concealment.

The G-22 is just a touch to large for me to conceal under light clothing with a slim build.
