Here is my G23 so far. My Army cover plate, "-" connector, and smooth trigger out of my G17. Still need to get the ameriglo operator pro sites and extended mag release (I thought I had another one, but cant find it). Then I can get it all duracoated desert camo. Cant think of anything else it needs? Put a box through it today just to test the trigger work, and this thing runs great. I am getting it ready for a couple classes this spring, so I am trying to keep it simple. Any suggestions besides more mags and ammo? Sorry for the bad pics, I need to take a class on photography also

Looks pretty good to me! Once you get the night sites you should be set.

Actually its not bad, not like my 1911. Everything will be field serviceable. Nothing fancy, in under a minute I could change any part, no fitting or messing around. And I have spare parts for anything that could go wrong. And I also have a backup G19 in case of complete failure.

Custom backplates (ghey), and duracoat don't make a "combat" pistol. Yes, replace the sights and maybe polish up the trigger contact points. Leave the rest of the fluff off and spend the money on ammo, mags and more training. My $0.02

I see what your saying, I just want one pistol in camo. I dont polish any parts, I want to be able to change a part if needed in the field and have the same feel. As far as the ammo/mags I dont have a shortage. And I do go to training every chance I get.

Glock are combat pistols as it comes from the factory, I will only add Meprolight night sights, more mags, good holster and a lot of ammo!

I would insult you as well for being an obvious imbecile in your choice of embellishments on your weapon but it seems that has already been accomplished.

Thumbs up on your Army cover plate.

Thumbs down on anyone telling you that you are wrong for wanting what you want. Its your weapon, not theirs;)

G23 is one of my favorite Glocks...

Excellent retort! I was expecting you to come back all serious with one of the classic, "no but if i ever am, ill be prepared blah blah blah" responses. I appreciate your sense of humor. Nice.

Its all good. I have done my serious time, now I am getting lazy. My "combat" gun is what I call my comp/training gun. If I was still in combat, or gunning for a living I would take what they give me and run it in the ground and not care. But I like to be different when its my time and money.

HogGlocker, I would expect nothing less.

WiskeyVI, I got the cover from Lone Wolf.

Thanks for all the support guys! You guys should work the suicide hot line
