    Allo,

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea if it were really possible to use a G22 slide on a G17 frame. According to the Glockfaq and Glockmeister, the only other slide the G17 frame is compatible with is that of the G34. However, I've heard from other sources that a G22 CAN be used with a G17 frame. So I'm obviously a bit confused. Is there a definitive answer out there?

    Thanks

If you have a 3 pin frame then yes you can put the G22 slide on it.If you have the older 2 pin frame don't do it,too much recoil from the 40 s&w round for the 2 pin frame to handle.Ken

Ah ha! I now understand the reason for those pins. I have an older frame, so I will most certainly not mount the G22 slide on it. I'll just get rid of it and keep a lookout for a used G17 slide.

    Thanks for the information!
