I have a black Glock 22 and have the opportunity to purchase a G17 with an OD frame. Will the G22 upper work on a G17 lower? They are both 3rd Gen pistols. Essentially I want a G22 with an OD lower.

    Thanks,

    TS

It'll fit, but you'll also have to replace the 9mm ejector-block, otherwise you run the risk of ejector-fires.

The ejector block in on the lower? (I do not have a Glock near by to look at)

The rear part of the trigger-assembly, the part that the connector is pushed into; if you look at a 9mm ejector-block versus a 40/357 ejector-block, the 40 uses a straight ejector (to clear the primer), while the 9mm uses an ejector that's curved in slightly.

Unless you change the ejector you risk setting off a round that you are trying to clear from the chamber.

    The G17 must also be a 3-pin Gen3 and not a 2-pin Gen3.

You also want to change the Spring Loaded Bearing.
