I just got a G22 and bought an aftermarket 28 round mag but is extremely tight fit. is there a way to sand it down or something else to make it fit?

didn't know it was aftermarket till after I bought it. just looked online and saw 28 round mags for $30. I paid $35 for a generic version. looks like I'll have to trash this one and buy the real thing.

I managed to get it in. I still have to tug on it to get it out. nothing a little 600 grit sandpaper wont fix. I should glue it in and load it with a stripper clip

Some folks who have had stick mag troubles have used ArmorAll to slick them up for easier removal.

Don't know if it would help in your case. Heck, it might dissolve the mag body...
