Does something like this exist? I was just thinking about how much fun it would be to shoot .22lr through my G22.

Advantage Arms but there is about a 27 year wait. Check the classified here very often and you might score one.

Actually more like 12-14 weeks or so. Just keep an eye on the classified here on GlockTalk. I've purchased 3 brand new, unfired with extra mags for basically retail and had them within a couple of days. Some dealers may also have them in stock.

I just browsed the Advantage Arms site and I couldn't find anything about mag size except that they said they don't manufacture hi-cap mags. What's that mean for capacity? Are there mags with a capacity of 20 or 30 that I can get from somewhere else?

10 Rounds which is kind of a drag but I got over it.

I've not heard of anyone offering high capacity mags for it. I thought I read somewhere that Black Dog Machine has considered it?????

Yes there is. Advantage Arms makes a kit. I have one mounted as a dedicated unit to a 2nd gen G22 frame. It serves as a practice gun.

One thing. They are very picky on ammo and need lots of lube. CCI mini-mags will work. Everything else is hit or miss. Automatch supposively made it onto the list. Haven't tried it yet.

My glock17/AA kit likes rem. goldens better than mini mags. It seems there is no two kits that are alike as far as ammo brands go. I had a glock 26 that liked mini mags and would choke on goldens, but I had pretty good luck shooting federal bulk packs even though AA said not to use them.

Another vote of confidence for Golden Bullets. Just don't let them sit around long enough to get dry.

I have tried them, but there are way too many fails to fire in a box. Too frustrating for training. I pulled the bullets and looked at the primer situation. There was little or none on the fails to fire.

I get one or two in a box of 550, but in reality, that is the only way I get to practice stoppage drills since all of my Glocks refuse to choke when running centerfire ammo.
