I have a chance to get a NIB G21 from a local gun shop very cheap. Only downfall, it has the American Flag graphics finish on the slide. My question...What is the deal with the slide wrap/finish or whatever it is called. Are these guns factory blemishes from Glock that are sent off to be refinished? Sort of like a Sig CPO. Or are they a new run marketing idea that never took off. The gun is being sold as NIB. I stripped the gun and it looks unfired. I have only ever seen the refinished slides at my local Cabellas and they are selling for $450 new vs my local GS price of $375 new.
