1911s are my preferred gun for launching 45s.

    IMO, they're worth the trouble.

    I say DO IT!

I'm not really sure what trouble you're referring to, but they are worth it. :)

If you are willing to wait, you will be able to get one for under $600, I did.

Saw one at a gun show this Saturday. Looked real nice in person. I want to say that the price tag said $649, but I can't be 100% sure.

1911's are so,...so, 1911ish. If I had to choose one, and I have both, multiples, and had to choose only one, I'd take the 21, hands down!:wavey:

I just can not stand 45 caliber Glocks. I really only like them in 9mm, though I do own a G33.

I shot a friends 21 sf the other day and it was the first time I shot a glock well. I just hold tighter patterns with a 1911

I considered getting a 21SF for a nightstand gun, but with the RIA railed model coming out around $650ish(?), I'd rather spend a little more and get a 1911.

Trust me, when I say no one appreciates a 1911 more than I, although, I am aware that your collection far surpasses even my wildest dreams, if it were the end of days, and S has HTF, I want a G21. That being said, if you haven't seen this, give it a look, it's worth it!

Oh, you know. The constant loading of magazines, the relentless cleaning every thousand rounds or so. Shakin' the dirt, dust, sand, grass, weeds, twigs and rocks out of the mags every 10 or 20 years. Picking up all those bowling pins and knocking them down again. Gets tedious.
