    First post, I have a tax refund burning a hole in my pocket and have been researching 10mm platforms Glock being the best by far. My question is, is it worth spending 600ish dollars on this pistol? Keep in mind that DT is the reason I selected the 10mm based on load specs. Sadly I've become aware of DT changing load specs and a lack of customer service as of late. What do you think?

    You might consider reloading.

    Tax returns are what you file. Tax refunds are what you spend. :embarassed:

    What's 'DT'?

    Most powerful Glock they make. Buy it. Don't go crazy over that 1600 FPS load. Get 165 or 180 bonded for SD. 135 fraggs a lot. I want a G29 to match.:supergrin: Start reloading now, before you get in too deep buying 10mm ammo. She's a hungry one!

    News travels pretty fast on the net.

    Welcome to GT! Make sure you make a informed choice on what caliber you purchase. Some ammo is easier and cheaper to acquire than others. The 10mm is a supreme round but its current availability is lacking.

    dt = double tap,

    and yes the 20 is worth it, its my carry piece anytime in the woods, havent had / got to use it on anything, but im sure one day there will be a coyote or something ,

    and if so , ill post the results here,

    but heres also georgia arms / buffalo bore, and double tap, along with american eagle for FMJ rounds, and a few other companys,

    but the real joy is reloading,

    as it cost the same as .40

    No joke! But if you got the cash, you could buy a .40 barrel, and shoot cheaper ammo. Many people thinks it defeats the purpose of having a 10, others say you'll have two or more guns in one. You can get .357 SIG, and 9x25 Dillon barrels as well. All without changing magazines.

    If you want real 10mm ammo, DT does it.
    Otherwise you can geet Silvertips for your 20/29s.

    I agree 100%, my family already has several 9mm Glocks to choose from. This is purely a case of "magnumitis" that needs to be remedied.:cool:

    Yeah, the cult of 10 is pretty strong. Components/reloading is where it's at. Get with it, you will soon be starving for ammo! :)
