g19 slide on 26 frame?

    I've been wishing for this combo for yrs. Quite a few companies produce a subcompact framed gun with a longer slide. I suggested this to Glock many long years ago. Longer bbl hides well IWB, short butt doesn't print, higher velocity.
    Your thoughts on this, please?

    Yes you can remove a G19 upper and slide it right onto your G26 frame. The only problem is that you will be missing about an inch of dust cover. The recoil spring will be exposed and this is sure to lead to a problem should you decide to use/carry it that way.
    FYI: Just because you can do something does not mean it is a good idea.
