I've been searching all the usual places (Gunbroker, etc.) for a NIB G19 RTF2 with the curved slide serrations, but so far no luck. Anybody know of a source? Thanks in advance. :wavey:

I'm in the same situation... basically what I learned from all it is, say your prayers and go to gun shops with glocks in stock and gun shows to try yout luck. Thats what I'm doing.

Check ALL your local gunshops and pawn shops. Some pawn shops operate just like gun shops, ordering and selling new merchandise. My local gunshop still has a couple in stock.

Better hurry. I attended the Armorer's course yesterday in Smyrna. The instructor commented that Glock has stopped production of slides with the fish gill serrations. Apparently they got a lot of customer feedback and it wasn't positive. The RTF frame will stay in production, but all new slides will have the standard vertical serrations.

I have a G22 RTF with the fish gill serrations. Purely cosmetic. Doesn't make you a better shooter, doesn't speed up reloads, doesn't make mere mortals weep. Just different looking.

Black Wing Shooting Center in Delaware, OH had a 19 RTF2 with gills in stock when I was there last week. I got my 19 RTF2 with gills there in late January and they ordered a few others when they ordered mine. I think one of the others is on layaway but there was one in the display case last week.

Some people hate the gills but I like them and feel a difference I'm the serrations on my 19 and 34. I do wish that my 34 had been available with the gills and the RTF2. I wonder if a 34 or 35 with RTF2 would have been a popular gun with competitive shooters, especially those who put skate tape or other friction on their Glocks.
