I'm courious about these "Internal improvements" you sope of in the gen 4.
Do you know what these improvements do and what they will do for you?
I'm willing to bet, if you like the grip of the Gen 3, then you will pick up a gen 3, walk out on the range and blast away, then ask yourself, "What else could I need and what the heck are those internal improvements for anyway?"
I have a safe full (well, not quite full) of gen 3's and no desire to own a gen 4.
My advice is to shoot them both, first. (You may want them both).
