I did a search and found a few things but I would like to ask if anyone has done this with the Glock store? Expensive yes, but to me in the video, it looks like the 1911 option still looks big.

I did buy a Glock 19/Gen4 a month ago (if memory serves) and I am STILL trying to get use to the grip. I am use to the 1911 grip as I have been shooting that for years. The "S" grip and being fatter at the bottom (Glock) is sometimes making me slide my hand off the back strap to the right a little (right handed shooter).

Maybe I need more time w/it but I'm not sure I can get 100% use to it.

    Thanks,
    Jim

IMO I'd leave it alone and spend some more time with it to get used to it.

Take some time first, every new gun needs some time to get used to.

    Thanks all.

Not sure if it is the grip or I am not use to the double stack mag type grip.

I have shot in some matches and did ok, but I know I am better, but it just seems the fat part of the bottom of the grip doesn't really fit well.

    I'll keep messing w/it I guess.

    Thanks,
    Jim

The "hump" at the bottom of the grip is one of the biggest complaints about the Glock. Fanboys will always tell you "to get used to it" Others will simply buy a gun with a better designed grip. The MBS on the Gen 4s would have been a perfect time to offer a flat back, like FNH does with it's guns.

Sorry, but those modifications look ugly as hell. Looks like a chop job finished with some guy and a soldering iron. The Glock store mod looks factory.
