OP, great job. That is the grip profile Glock should have designed into the subs to begin with. Always wondered why the smallest Glock has the biggest hump, which feels pretty crappy in my hand.

TexasPoff, I have this dream of a Glock 21 chopped down to accept 10rd G30 mags with the G21 flat floor plates. It essentially would be the same grip as a XD45c.
Anyone ever seen one like this?

Yup, I have done several 21's like that and a few 20, cut down to take 29 mags.

I've made up my mind that I'm going to do this on my next purchase for CCW. I've carried a Ruger SP101 for about 10 years, but I've noticed a trend lately that bad guys seem to be teaming up, and I'd like to have more rounds in the gun and quicker reloads.

    Nice job OP.

At first I was like "why not just get the 26?"
But the longer sight radius makes sense and it cam out looking like factory!
    Nice job Bud

Congrats! I know when I did my first one when I whacked my G17 down to a 19 I measured once, measured twice like grandpa used to say, and then hell even did it third time to be safe before I ran it through my bandsaw! :)

I'm REALLY happy with mine too, but I was like you nervous as hell when I started! :)

I've done a couple now, it get's easier after the first one (plus then you have one that's done to measure off of too! :).

Look great! I'm actually thinking of having that done to one of my 23's. May hit up TexasPOff once I can PM.

Excellent work. I'm a machinist and own a mill, this would be the perfect tool to do this mod and all the edges would be smooth and perfect with nices radiuses etc. I will say this though, until you can do it with hand tools you're not ready to use a machine. The machine doesn't do the job for you it only makes the job easier.

Nice job! And congrats on having the courage to start cutting on your Glock :wow:

Keep up the good work, and I appreciate the "step-by-step" photos.

I personally wouldn't want such a configuration, but you did a great job. Looks factory.

MK, that is a good looking job on the mod, I've been wanting to do the same on a Gen3 19C. I think that would make a good edc.
