So I saw an earlier thread that had this as one of the questions, but most of the suggestions were the type of Crossbreed/Minotaur/M-tac holster. I was wondering in general, what would any of you suggest, whether you use or have heard good things about certain holsters; or are the Crossbreed/Minotaur/M-tac holsters just that good? I'm looking for something that would give me some pretty good comfort, but overall hide the gun really well.

There are a lot of great IWB holster designs out there. I have carried extensively in many IWB holsters to include CTAC, Blade-Tech IWB and Raven Concealment.
NOTHING I have tried comes close to the Raven Concealment.
These holsters have quite a following, but not necessarily on this site.

The photos show me carrying my G19 under a t-shirt.
The holster is a Raven Concealment Phantom with the overhook attachments. The holster was custom ordered with a 20 degree forward cant.

    Check 'em out.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's just the picture; but I don't think I would be very comfortable holstering a Glock with that tight molding inside the trigger guard.

    It's just you.
You'd have to look at it in person. The kydex doesn't come anywhere near the trigger. It's physically impossible for the trigger to be moved by inserting it into this holster. You can see the outline of the trigger in the molding, but it's not really that close to the actual trigger.
    100% safe.

90%+ of the kydex holsters on the market retain the gun the exact same way as the Raven.

I've never found IWB to be comfortable for me.

If you are looking for an OWB paddle that is VERY comfortable and superlightweight, check out the Galco MX4.

Love the one I've got for my 19.

    Howdy Doc,

    +1!

I use the Glock Sport holster and I just cannot see using a different holster.

    Tucker GunLeather "The Answer".

Cant adustable, leather against the body at all points, Kydex outer. Adjustable pressure on the pistol. So comfortable that I can come close to forgetting I'm wearing it.

I too recommend Raven Concealment Systems holsters. I have replaced all my kydex holsters with RCS products. They are the most comfortable kydex I've worn and they tuck the pistol/revolver close to the body so it is less noticeable to others.

Please tell us that when you "really" carry you actually wear a sturdy belt.

Mtac > Raven, had them both and the raven can be a bit of a pain to wear for all day carry. The gun impression you see on the outside is just about the same on the inner side and after a while it digs into your hip and the cant adjustment is pretty limited. The mtac is a little thicker but feels much better to wear all day. I had a horsehide crossbreed and loved everything about it except the fact that it started to squeek and moan like a leather couch from the clips and the gun. Some kiwi leather conditioner and a little work took care of that.
