I recently picked up an early 3rd Gen 19. I have put close to 2k rounds through it and haven't had a single problem. When comparing the barrel to my friends 17's and 19's it appears as if the rifling in mine is almost non existent. Any ways to figure out if my barrel has been " shot out"??? I have a barrel to shoot lead from but would rather not have to use it if i don't.

You can never shoot out your Glock barrel. You can make it pretty dirty and "think" it is shot out but rest assured, it is as good as new.
Clean it. If you suspect it is leaded, clean it again.
