Are the G19 and G17 drop free mags totally interchangable with no extra space or other issues? Thanks.

You can use G-17 mags in the G-19, But you can not use G-19 in a G-17.. The G-17 mags will stick out the bottom of the grip on the G-19 a little... I carry a G-17 Mag as my backup for my G-19

Drop free mags fit the same as non-drop free, if that's what you are asking.

Same, I use G17 magazines in my 19 and 26 pistols mainly because I own lots more G17 magazines than G19 or G26 magazines.
    No problems.

Yep got to love the versatility of Glocks in that aspect. I have a G19 but a ton of G17 mags.

17's will stick .5 ish inches off the bottom, but the extra rounds have their advantage... get a 33 rounder for nothing more than range play, they are way too much fun.
