I need advice from the Glock veterans on this board, I'm debating whether to keep my only Glock which is a NIB G17, I've heard you can change the complete top-ends and mags from a 22 or 31 and change calibers? is this true, my serial number prefix is HMGxxx. Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, aircav.

You're the one selling it on the GT forums?

I would keep it. Take it from us; any gun you sell you will end up regretting doing so.

Espeically the G17; I wouldn't part with mine, nor my G26. The G17 is a classic that you should keep.

I don't think you can change the G17 to the .40 or .357SIG, but with the G22/G31 I think you can change them.

    Neverthe less, I wouldn't sell your G17

Pretty much, but a complete top-end will cost nearly as much as a whole new Glock--and you may well need to change the ejector/trigger housing as well for complete reliability.
