Can I use a G17 with a trigger job on it in the Stock class? Also, can I use a stainless steel guide rod with a #13 spring? Thanks

Trigger job is OK if it is still all Glock parts. The lighter spring and recoil rod is only allowed in Unlimited/Masters Category. You could cheat and use it and get away with it, but you may also get caught and be disqualified. Just place your old factory guide rod back into your pistol and shoot the match on an even keel with everyone else.

Even if the OEM parts are modified?

Stock means stock. The G17 does not come with stainless steel guide rods and 13 # ISMI recoil springs. The trigger job is okay IF you are speeking of only polishing original Glock trigger parts but is not allowed if you are talking something like the lightening strike or ghost triggers. The rules can be found at www.gssfonline.com

If you have modified the original stock recoil spring and guide rod, like cutting off coils and such then still to really be leagel and not cheat you must replace it with a pure stock item to shoot any GSSF Stock Categories.

This is the best view of the magazine release. I added a little piece of plastic to it but the main part of it is still stock.

So magwells in stock I'll assume are not allowed either.

    Those are HUGE pics.

Basically you can change sights to other notch and post style. No fiber optics allowed

You can clean up the trigger as long as you use stock parts.

You can use any part made by Glock in any gun, except longer barrels.

You can add grip socks or skater tape and other similar materials.

Everything else puts you into Unlimited.
