Is the trigger safety plunger so gunked up that when the trigger bar hits it, the slide raises a little because the plunger won't go up smoothly?
Does it still do the same thing after a detail strip, clean, and lube? I can imagine dirt, gunk, metal shavings, etc. left in there any place in the mechanism during the assembly process.
How is the engagement?
Shades of the Glock-L.....
Take your slide off and push the firing pin safety in by hand, does it move in and out smoothly? Or is it a little 'crunchy'? If it's not smooth I'd check to see if the spring is installed correctly.
This is normal on an unmodified Glock. If you don't want it to move peen the slide rails.

DOD got it right,i noticed many years ago that the slides will have a slight movement when the trigger is pulled, some of my glock slides will move up and down, some will move slightly sideways,it appears that the trigger bar pushing on the striker lug is contributing to the movement also.
