I installed a g17 trigger bar in my g19 and it seems to function normally. Glock sent me the annual magazine and a catalog with a chart, for the parts compatibility among the models. According to the chart the g17 trigger bar is not compatible with g19. My g19 is a carry gun. Should I put the original trigger bar back. I am concerned about reliability.

Glock parts list in my Armorers manual indicates they are the same part #.

I thought the trigger bar was the same for all glocks, minus the smooth faced or serated trigger.

I believe that they list the serrated trigger specifically for the Compacts and Subcompacts because that is what those HAVE to be imported with (in order to gain those necessary import points). Once in country, they can be swapped out for smooth ones by the end user. I have even heard of some people that like those instead and actually swap them in for the smooth triggers on their fullsize frames. :dunno:

If it is a Glock trigger assembly, it can be readily swapped out with the other type (as long as they both are for the same frame type).

Thanks for the information. I am leaving it in. I prefer the smooth trigger.

I hijacked the smooth face trigger/bar out of my G22 and put it in my Gen4 G23. Works perfectly.

That's exactly what I was considering on my 26. Don't really care for it, love the feel of the smooth face on the larger frames. It's ~$15 part.
