Is it possible to convert my g17 to g22? Do they use the same frame? what parts do i have to change?
See the FAQ files at www.glockmeister.com. It should give you the answers you need. You can also try using the SEARCH function.
They use the same frame but not the same locking block. G22 have 3 pins and 17 have only 2 pins. But earlier production of 40s have only 2 pins so go figure why they put 3 pins. I have both 17 and 22 and I swapped the frame and barrel and worked both slides and it doesn't seem to have any problem but I wouldn't shoot the 40 using the 17 frame.
Hope this helps.
mine has 3 pins, 2 above the trigger and another one at the back(grip position)
I didn't know that 17 comes with 3 pins now. You might want to check the locking block if it's the same. Check your manual if they are interchangeable. Where are you going to get the slide?
i think the locking block is the same
meron ba nabibilhan slide ng glock? or aftermarket slide?
2 years ago i saw a glock 17 slide at twin pines the price is 26k more expensive than a caspian slide.
Dagdagan mo na lang ng konti may bagong Glock ka na.
A quick call to GLock Smyrna confirms you are right. They have the same locking block and you can shoot the 40 provided you can get an aftermarket slide and barrel.
i think all 3rd gen framed glocks have 3 pins already....but i'm not sure;f
if you have a 17 and want to convert it to a 22, you have to buy a conversion barrel from kkm etc. and also change the mag follower to .40, thats all, ang masakit sa bulsa lang ang barrel, $150 maybe, goodluck;f
kung $150 na sa us how much pa kaya un dito sa pinas? and saan kaya makakabili convertion barrel dito sa pinas?
I don't think anyone makes conversion from 9mm to 40 S&W.
Glocks are relatively cheaper now. Get another Glock and you're good to go. Buying parts here and there is just an inconvenience.
I have a glock 22c complete upper with novak night sight pm me if you're interested
Hey sonny - If you're going to do it make sure you change your ejector too. G22's ejector is shorter and straight compared to G17. There is a chance of AD when removing live ammo from the chamber.
Mas madali kung bibili ka na lang ng isa pang unit.
malaki rin pala magastos ko kaya bibili na lang siguro ako ng bago. how much kaya g23 ngayon?
