    Hello all,
    Here is what I have:
    1 stripped G17 slide (w/plastic sights) 2nd generation
    1 factory G17 barrel, 2nd generation
I just received the two in a trade, both serial numbers match. I don't have any spare G17 frames lying around but I would like to have an extra complete upper set up as a spare. I would like to have all the internals put in (easy- I can do that), a new metal front sight installed (or Heienes or other aftermarket sights) and possible a refinish on the slide- maybe OD or coyote brown. Any ideas who I could send it to that would have all the parts, could install the sights and refinish it- one stop shopping would be great. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'd call Matt at Custom Glock Racing.

I also do the finishes. I also have the sight installation tools. I can finish the slide in OD Green, Tan, Black or Gray. I can also strip the finish and bead blast to a natural silver. Glocks have the tenifer finishes embedded fairly deeply in the metal, so they won't rust.

Here are some pics of a stripped slide I did this week:

I took the pics inside with the flash, would look even better outside...but it was night when I took the pics.
