If any of you guys(or gals) might could help me out, i have an early 3rd gen G17 (2 pin model) that i have had for awhile. however i got the gun used, and i have made a few modifications to it ever since and carry it sometimes if i want tote a full size, and its one of my fav glocks. However the slide stop lever got to feeling sloppy a while back, well i was going to order a new extended version and found 2 (one for 2pin model and one for a 3pin) so my problem was my lever Did not have the 'spike limiter' that the 2pin was supposed to have , well i look on the lever and the part# reads 5299-2 which for some reason i think is the wrong one? would the 3 pin model work or do i have to buy the 2pin one(they our out of stock wherever i could find) ANY help is appreciated! thanks

You should use the 2-pin version with the spike limiter, Glock part# 7489, though the number printed on the slide stop will be a different number.

I don't have an Armorer's part list so I have no idea which numbers printed on the slide stops correspond to each part#.

Ahh i gotcha! thanks, sometimes those part #'s confuse me!
