IS IT NORMAL FOR THE FRONT TIP OF SLIDE TO RUB AGAINST THE FRAME ON A G17? IF NOT THEN WHAT'S WRONG? I ALREADY REPLACED GUIDE ROD AND SPRING, AFTER I BOUGHT IT USED.

First, take the caps lock off. If you can't use the shift key, at least type in all lower case.

Second, the forward plastic "dust guard" part of the grip frame often bends up and contacts the slide. No big deal. Mine does it.

Many of them do it, doesn't seem to affect anything. My G17 and G36 almost touch the slide. G19 doesn't come close.
