I'm reloading .45ACP right now and will likely start reloading 9mm in the near future.

    I currently have a G19 and G23. My .45ACP handguns are all 1911's. I also have a 1911 9mm.

I was planning on using my G23 as my house gun. But, with a Streamlight TLR-1 on it, it is a jam-o-matic. So, the light is currently on my G19. I'm considering getting a G17 or G21SF to be my house gun. G17 has more capacity. But, G21SF is no slouch for ammo capacity either. None of my 1911's have a rail.

    Thoughts?

I carry a 9mm most of the time, but my house gun is a 45ACP. I'd say get the G21SF.

Just purchased a G21 SF RTF not long ago and am very happy with it. I was suprised the recoil was not much more noticable than the G19.
