Just installed a LW Stainless Guide Rod and ISMI 17lb spring combo.and like it very much.My currant load is 7 grains HS-6 under Hornady's 115 grain XTP.Being an old 1911 guy but a greenhorn with the Glock,I am beginning to wonder if I am undersprung slightly.Zero function issues but I get the feeling that being up in the 140+ power factor that probably I should be using an 18 or 20lb spring. Any guidance you could offer would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Don

Watch the ejection pattern of the brass. If the brass is ejected out 10 feet or more you need more spring. If the brass is rolling off your knuckles you need less spring.
