I was using Netscape 7.2 for this and had bookmarked it. Now, it says no such file exists.

I then used the Search function of Windows which now says no G-mail file exists.

Does this mean I have to re-apply for an account (Invitation was kindly sent by a GTer) Maybe I'll need another invitation.

Also, the automatic check-in of Firefox will not allow me to use the different name for Gmail. How can I overcome this?

    Suggestions please.

To Stickman 77: Tried that but it doesn't work. Firefox just keeps filling in my Yahoo email address and won't allow a change. Thanks anyway.

I also believe the problem is on my computer. That's why I turned to this forum for suggestions on how to solve the problem.

Do you have IE or another browser. It would be good to see if you can reach the url with another browser.

Finally figured it out! Went to Firefox tools/privacy...removed password to this site. However, it only works with Firefox/Mozilla. It does not work on Netscape. I guess I'll just have to work on that browser. Thanks to all who participated in my momentary black-out.

Did the same thing on Netscape..ie. removing older settings. Now it works and I have Gmail.
