I had to make a road trip last week to attend a funeral.Of all the options I had,I chose my G-17.No need to worry about rust due to weather up in the mountains,good magazine capacity,potent enough caliber,night sights.I was thinking of just pocketing a P-32 but decided on the 17 instead.tom.

I also picked up an beater 2002, ex-police G17 gen 3 today-it was caked with gunk and baked on carbon. Still worked-loaded, etc. I scrubbed it down, Frog lubed it and I am going to send 100 rounds downrange at work tomorrow. Hope it runs like the gen2s, no problems there!
