GSSF have pulled out the list of local dealers that honor the certificate on their website, so I contacted Glock Inc. for a list.

Spoke with a couple of representatives at Glock because the contact number they gave me didn't honor the coupon until one said "Yes, we honor it...but it's going to be Law Enforcement pricing, NOT according to the coupon". So it is $20-30+ from what it says on the certificate.

Just giving you guys a heads up.

It is obsolete if you have the NEW certificate. However, if you have the OLD certificate that says 2007/2009 Purchase Cert, then you have UNTIL April 2nd to use it. Least that is what we were told by DannyR. And I hope is the case as I'm looking looking into getting my G35/34 here in the next couple of weeks with my old cert that I just received in late January.

At least that is my understanding of the changes in the program.

Read my post above. It explains the change-over of the program plain as day. This has been explained over and over again and I, like DannyR, am really starting to get annoyed at how simple it is, yet how few people actually understand it.

After rereading my last post, it could be taken as jackassish. Sorry.

Do you actually understand how it works? If you have an old cert, the old dealer list still works as Dingus posted above. But that is only valid until April 2nd, 2010, so use it soon.

People understand; they would just like to see a new list instead of having to contact Glock.

    You however, may not understand:

There is NO NEW CERTIFICATE. You just show your card.

So...do you think that most of the "old dealers" that were on the list are still a part of the "new dealers" that are distributing them? (Edspublicsafety)?

Although it would be nice to have a dealer right next door so a person can just walk in and buy the Glock of their dreams; often that doesn't work. If you live in the middle of nowhere you are either forced to drive a distance or you still order from someone. Especially if what you're looking for isn't available at the nearest dealer. I would assume that when a person calls Glock about dealers that they would tell you whether you could order from outside your area. I don't know why you couldn't.

Yeah, this is the part that puzzles me.

Why tie up your customer service number with people calling asking for which dealers participate near them, when you could just publish a list ? I would think you would want to MINIMIZE calls to your customer service line, not increase it.

Make the old list obsolete (AFTER April 2cd), then create a new list (updated as necessary) and post it in the same place. Doesn't seem so hard to me? I think it would simply things for all involved as well.

I too am waiting to see the new list. I have a cert. good until April 1, but it is a 4 hour drive round trip, twice, to use it. If the new list, good after April1, shows a dealer closer, I would like to wait. I am watching this site for more info. I tried to upload the page 2, but it would not load, Adobe locks up.

I called Glock CS number listed on the pg. 2 of the instructions to ask who would be the dealer in Mo. They said that they would get me in touch with someone who new; I was then transferred to the GSSF rep where I got a message asking me to leave a message and # so they could get back with me. 4 1/2 hrs ago. :whistling:

I see this may be a process...

Yep, I was just thinking the same.

Why not just post a list of participating dealers as others have suggested?

I want a G19 Gen 4, but my certificate will be no good after April 2. So if I wait, I'll be paying the higher price. Not a biggie if a participating dealers is close by, but I don't know at this time.

I do hope that Glock Inc. will be ready for the huge flux of calls.

    Anyways, just for clarity:
If you still have the old cert, use it NOW until April and go by the old list.
When it's past April and you don't have the cert, contact Glock to find your local dealer and show your membership card.
