Funny things with Glock Trigger

Hi maybe one of you know why those things happen

Everything started when I found out that a guy with a similar trigger setup has way less trigger pull then I.

I then started playing around with the springs and components.

First thing I noticed was that when I put the original Glock firing pin back in it gets much more mushy but also much lighter than with my titanium one.

Other thing I noticed is that with the ZEV 3 pound connector i comibination with the Glockworx trigger I do have an incredible short pretravel. A very 1911 like set point a clear and very crispy break and little overtravel.

However, if i replace the ZEV connector with the 3,5 Ghost one i do have a much more mushy Glocklike trigger but also a much lighter one.

Any idea why? I mane the ZEV should be lighter or at least like the Ghost in case of pull.

...set it up like his
That's a lot to explain. First I think that experimenting and finding what combination you like best is great. Why it does what it does is not so important as it doing what you want it to do.
Second thing is very important. If this is a target only gun then play with springs and things until your happy with the outcome.
If it is a carry gun I would be careful with lighter springs and other things that may make it not as dependable as a stock or close to stock gun.
Be sure to shoot several hundred rounds through it before you declare it dependable.

Its an IPSC Open gun and it seems that even with the same or similar setup i do have a higher trigger pull than others and that i dont understand
A lot of it simply has to do with the geometry of the parts .
You'll find variances among them and often have to sort through several combinations of connectors/triggerbars/etc.,to find something that feels the way you like it and yields the pull weight that you desire.....but you can also fit them to a great degree as well.
