A friend of my cousin shot his thumb off with a Ruger SR9. He said that somehow the gun jammed and when the next bullet went into the chamber it hit the bullet that was already in there, went off, and somehow blew his thumb off. Well, I know better. He had to have had his finger on the trigger. And then he chambered a round by pulling the front of the slide. His thumb went over the barrel and he pulled the trigger as the round chambered. ...I think that instead of making up something like that, I wouldve told people that someone tried to rob me and i tried to take the gun and got my thumb shot off. Anyway...let that be a lesson to you guys with front cocking serrations. Use the rear ones.
