Was lucky enough to get my hands on a (Corrected to Glock 17 with a conversion) and tested it at the range. I was expecting extreme muzzle rise but found it very controlable with 90%+ on target. There was some muzzle rise but not as much as expected. At the 7 yard line, we aimed at mid abdomen and the rise went up into the upper chest and neck.

If you don't lean heavily into the weapon on the balls of your feet, you will be stood up straight. Here is a video, will take a moment to load.

Nice vid, but I thought you said it was a Glock 18?

What conversion unit was used on it?

It was a conversion. If you look at the rear slide cover, you will notice that it protrudes noticably. It is the aftermarket selector switch. The Glock 18 does not extend out.

My mistake, it was a glock 17 with a conversion. Had my mind on G18.

    Awesome video!

I've fired the G18 but that's actually my first time seeing a G17 conversion in action. Pretty cool.

Take care over there playing in the sand!

Let me rephrase that. I am a former LEO, have a class III, but where I am right now that means nothing. My class three was not a question when I shot that video. Sorry I cannot tell you more than my profile.

Was that really 7 yards? Looks like about 3 in the video.

looks more like you're shooting at 7 feet than 7 yards

I am guessing you need something special to be able to get one? Some permit or Class III or something.

Nice Vid. Who cares how close or far away you were. That was an uncompensated 17 right? Not going to hit much to far out.

    Please put a conversion on a G21. I'd love to see that:thumbsup:

Why was this moved out of the general glocking forum?
