    Well, I have decided.

I'm going to part with my beloved black and silver '01 Gixer. I have had it since new with much money invested. The biggest mods have been a set of carbon fiber Dymag wheels ($4500 ouch!) and a full titanium exhaust. I think the whole exhaust from the headers to the pipe weighs about 6lbs. The bike also has a power commander and numerous other upgrades including a double bubble windscreen. The original parts are included except the wheels I sold. The bike has never been in an accident and has about 9500 miles on it. Although its extremly fast and light, it was ridden modestly. The first $5,500 takes it. I don't need the money, but I want this bike to sell fast before I change my mind!! Try as I do, I'm just not into the crotch rocket seen anymore. In the spring, I may buy something more comfortable and less extreme.

may I suggest either the new FZ-1 or a Bandit 1200.

    Comfort and speed.

That would be a heck of a buy. It's a damn shame that the bike has to be sold.
