I am looking to replace only the front sight on my Gen 4 19 strictly for the purpose of getting on target quicker at CQB distances.

I know that I want Orange (as green washes out in sunlight).

Also need it to work with the factory rear sights which I will likely black out.

Finally, do I need a pusher to R&R the front sight?

Thoughts?

Practically every sight mfg sells just the front sight. Simply find one that's the same height as the stock front and replace it. You'll need a socket to fit the screw that holds on the sight. Personally, I recommend a Glock front sight tool made to fit the screw. Don't forget the LocTite for the new one. I replaced both sights with the excellent Warren-Sevigny Tactical setup on my 19 and couldn't be more satisfied. As for color, their sights come with both red and green rods so you can add whichever you like. I use the green in sunlight with no trouble at all. It's whatever you like.
