I just got my G30 and thought about just adding a Glock front night sight. I figure it may be the same size as the stock sight and will still aim the same. Any other front sight direct fit option?

I am not a fan of glock sights in general so a dawson front, plain black rear would be my choice. Though my g26 wears a set of heini straight 8s. If you measure your front sight height, then just match that with any front, gtg.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to mess with the rear sight. I just want to go with the front change. I have Glock night sights on my 26. They're ok but I may go with Ameriglo made for Glock front night sight but would like some more input on choices.
I don't know which of those woud be better if I go Ameriglo.
    Both .165.
    GL-212-GR-C or GL-612G

Personal pref. I have grown to not like big white dots on my sights or white anything on the rear. For daylight, a FO front & black rear is fast. For night, no flashlight, a trijicon front & black rear or heini straight 8s. If you use a flashlight or weapon light, FO front works great.

I have a GL-212T-ORC front sight on my G19. I really like the orange outline color (very easy to "pick up" in most conditions).

I know you stated that you want to leave your rear sight alone (I understand personal preference). FWIW - like fredj338, I also use a plain black rear sight. Really makes the front sight "pop".

    Just some input to ponder...…...

I just ordered the lime green. It was a tough decision with the orange.
I just don't want to deal with installing the rear sight. I'll see how it works out with just the front sight first.
I like the TruGlo TFX Pro's I have on the G42 but the 45 will be a home protection and range gun.

    Use BLUE Loctite, NOT RED.

I have Loctite blue but it's over 10 years old. I'm going to buy some new Loctite blue. Should I buy the 242 or 243 blue Loctite?
