I've ridden some Hueys and Blackhawks NOE and it's a blast. That looks like lots of fun if no ones out to get ya. Wish I had better eyes, cause that would have been my calling.
Good luck to your friend.
Good to see some things haven't changed in the last forty or so years. That looked real familiar (except no rice paddies or palm trees).
Dang the trees looked CLOSE good luck to your friend.
Looks vaguely familiar. I think I might've chased cows in some of those same LZs....I miss that stuff!
I was never one of the "natural" terrain flight navigators (especially leading a flight), always jealous of those who were. I had to work pretty hard at it. It was a lot of fun but I'm not ashamed to admit that I sure do appreciate GPS nowadays.
p.s. 4:14 & 8:25 will get yer attention
He flies around NOT blowing stuff up? Waddupwitdat?
looks like a fun job
I've had some military choppers fly low over my property, but NEVER that low or fast. My horses would have a FIT!
